The Maverick Archetype, Top Gun & Instincts

Over the weekend, I got a chance to watch the movie Top Gun: Maverick. I heard a lot of good reviews but didn't expect it to be as good as I did.

It was amazing!

I got my partner to watch the original with me earlier in the day, so we were both up to speed with the 1986 version (can you believe it's been 35 years?).

Funny sidenote: someone re-cut the original trailer into a love story. You can't watch the film in the same way after seeing it 😂

I'm going to talk a bit about the film, the Maverick archetype in Jungian philosophy, and how it relates to trusting your gut/instincts.
